About us. Sugarland Gardens Pty Ltd is family owned and operated. We—David and Anita Torrisi, the owners and directors—are industry leaders who have been actively involved in the retirement village industry for 25 years. We have successfully developed Sugarland Gardens Retirement Village in Bundaberg followed by Fraser Shores Retirement Village in Hervey Bay. With the valuable experience gained from these first two notable achievements, we are now in the process of developing Fraser Shores Retirement Village 2, a continuation of nearby Fraser Shores Retirement Village. The latest village offers the same beautifully appointed homes, quality and value for money. All of our facilities boast superb community facilities, very possibly the best in the country.
